Buttons comment isn’t controversial or untrue. But yours is nonsense, if the Mercs were that good then Bottas would have been easier top 2 all the time. Maybe the Mercedes of Hamilton looked on rails because it was driven well! Either way a shame your bias clouds enjoyment for appreciating all racers.02-04-2022 17:07

Well it’s a long season and if they think they can unlock something spectacular they can afford to fall quite a way behind. It’s a big if of course! Love this stuff as next year everyone will have worked out the best design and back to identikit cars. Great that the new regs and budget cap seem to be delivering. Even as a MB fan the bouncing thing made me chuckle with that description. Sky will probably add sound effects to match soon.29-03-2022 14:03

Because of the wing, it’s why DRS is so powerful in that the wing creates the most drag on an F1 car of any single component. The fastest F1 car of all time BAR-Honda 067 off race clocked 257mph with no rear wing.29-03-2022 07:55

Agree. Admittedly as a British fan I wanted Lewis to win and if I was a team fan it would probably be Mercedes, but I watch F1 because I like the racing and appreciate and enjoy the battle we are seeing this year. This particularly now we are seeing that the regulation changes have delivered closer racing and also changed the order of teams and drivers. It’s just sad that Max winning it has brought out all manner of new fans who know nothing about the sport and assume everyone else has their same binary view of the sport it’s teams and drivers.28-03-2022 11:51
